Goldfrapp - Wonderful Electric (DVD) Sharing an interest in 1960s French pop music, film soundtracks, mccormick deering cream separator and electronica, Allison Goldfrapp mccormick deering cream separator and composer Will Gregory began a collaboration known as Goldfrapp. The result was a unique sound that blended electronic beats with poppy, dreamlike vocals, creating a listening experience that defies categorization. Here, Goldfrapp performs two separate shows to sold-out crowds in London. The first concert is held at Shepard's Bush Empire in 2001, coinciding with the release of their debut album FELT MOUNTAIN. The set includes many tracks from the duo's first collaborative effort, as well as a rendition of Olivia Newton John's hit song Let's Get Physical--renamed U.K. Girls (Physical), a cover of Baccaro's disco number Yes, Sir, I Can Boogie, the never-before released Little Death, mccormick deering cream separator and a rare track entitled Sartorious. The latter concert is set in the beautiful outdoor setting of Somerset House, one of London's most impressive buildings. Here, Goldfrapp performs songs from their 2003 release, BLACK CHERRY.
